Health & Safety Precautions for our Guests and Staff:

We are OPEN. We look forward to your stay with us! 

 

 

In order to keep our guests and staff safe we ask that all guests adhere to these precautionary house rules during your stay:

 

1. Please wear a face mask in the common areas.

 

2. Please maintain 2 m / 6 feet of social distancing between you and other guests and staff.

 

3. Please use the hand sanitizer placed throughout the house.

 

4. Please wash your hands frequently.

 

5. Please allow only one family in the stairwell at a time.

 

6. Please understand that we may have to restrict access to some common areas, including the dining and lounging area, at times of high occupancy.

 

7. **To keep our guests and our housekeeping staff safe, there is NO Housekeeping in your room during your stay.**

 

Please understand that we do NOT tidy your room while you are staying with us. We thoroughly clean and disinfect our rooms after our guests have vacated before the next guest arrives. Our COVID room cleaning protocols are of highest standards.

 

8. Please note that tea and port will be available as refreshments during your stay, however our snack bar will be closed.

British Columbia's and Canada's Current Travel Restrictions due to COVID-19:

 

  • As of August 2021, BC is in Step 3 of its Restart Plan. For British Columbians, it’s time to explore BC now! Safe and responsible travel within the province is now encouraged.
  • If you are visiting from Canada, B.C. is welcoming visitors from Canadian provinces and territories. Respect communities, make a plan before you leave and arrive at your destination prepared.
  • If you are visiting from a country other than Canada or U.S.A.:

    Travel restrictions are in place across all ports of entry. The Canadian border is closed to most international travellers. You are allowed to enter Canada if you are a:

    • Canadian citizen
    • Permanent resident of Canada
    • Temporary resident of Canada
    • Protected person (refugee status)
    • Person registered under the Indian Act
    • Foreign national with a non-discretionary (non-optional) reason to travel to Canada

    If you are travelling from U.S.A.:

  •  All non-essential travel at the Canada-U.S. border is restricted.

  • Starting August 9, fully vaccinated citizens and permanent residents of the United States can enter Canada for non-essential travel. Entry to Canada will continue to be prohibited for travellers who are not fully vaccinated.

  • If you travel to B.C. from another province or territory, you do not need to self-quarantine when entering B.C. You must follow the same province-wide restrictions as everyone in B.C.

  • Recreational travel within B.C. is allowed. This includes travel for:

    • Vacations, weekend getaways and tourism activities
    • Visiting family or friends for social reasons
    • Recreation activities
  • Some Indigenous communities in B.C. are not welcoming visitors at this time. Indigenous Tourism BC has a list of Indigenous experiences in the province that are currently open and welcoming visitors.

  • We have a library of books and board games available for our guests to use.
  • We are near the Government House where you can stroll the gardens, enjoy the ducks, practice your photography, meditate, do your yoga, and enjoy the views.
  • You can take a walk through the Rockland historic neighborhood and marvel at the architecture and witness the most beautiful time of year in Victoria as the flowers begin to blossom and delight our senses.
  • You can go to nearby beaches to enjoy a walk or take in the fresh ocean air.
